Installing your Modem 2-3

In Windows XP/2000

1. Upon connecting your modem to the computer’s

USB port, a Found New Hardware Wizard dialog

box similar to Figure 2-2 pops up. Click the Next

button to proceed.

2. If the dialog box similar to Figure 2-3 appears, click

the Continue Anyway button.

If the Autostart feature for your

CD-ROM drive is not

activated, you need to click

Start -> Run -> and type

D:\setup.exe, where D:

represents the drive letter of

your CD-ROM.
